CDL Tractor Trailer Driver Local – FTL

DESCRIPTION:

Delaware Valley Floral Group, a leader in the international floral industry, is seeking a full time local driver to join its Flower Transfer Logistics (FTL) division.

FTL, based in Sewell, N.J., is a ‘for hire’ transportation company that specializes in the movement of flowers throughout the continental United States.

This position is for full time local work in the evenings and weekends as necessary.  While most routes allow the driver to be home every night, there will be an occasional overnight stay when delivering to one of our distribution centers in Syracuse or Cranberry Twp, PA.  Optional runs may also be available as fill-in work for our team drivers that handle our Miami to NJ routes.   The start time is between 8-9pm and the rate for this position is $21/hour with overtime paid on weekly hours over 40.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with completing daily driver logs and company trip reports.
  • A current CDL with hazmat endorsement.
  • 2 years of experience with 53’ trailers, preferably reefers.
  • Most tractors have automatic transmissions, however a few do have manual transmissions.

Fresh Flower Work Leader

PM Maintenance Mechanic/Technician

Job Description:
The PM Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for routine general maintenance and repairs to all facets of the refrigerated warehouse, as well as perform complex day-to-day repairs on distribution center equipment.  This position will also provide general maintenance support to the entire facility and offices as needed.

Logistics PM Operations Manager

This position is responsible for the effective management and coordination of the Flower Transfer Logistics fleet and equipment for deliveries within the DVFG/FTL operational system.  The individual will need to execute on the daily operational plan in the most efficient and cost effective way, working closely with the warehouse team to meet our productivity and performance goals.

I further understand that no manager or representative of the company, other than the Chief Executive Officer, has the authority to enter into any agreement for employment for any specified period of time or to make any agreement contrary to this statement. I further understand that the only way the at-will employment relationship can be changed is through a written agreement expressly titled "Employment Agreement" which is signed by me and the Chief Executive Officer, specifically names me in the agreement, states that I am not an at-will employee and sets forth the duration and terms of my employment. I also understand that the policies and procedures of the company, which are not limited to those stated in its employee handbook, are not binding, do not constitute a contract of employment, agreement or promise of any kind. In other words, the benefits provided by the company may be revoked, withdrawn or changed by it at any time and are not intended to affect in any way either my right or the right of the company to terminate my employment at any time for any reason without notice.

I understand that I may be required to work overtime as a condition of being employed.

I agree that, if employed by DVFG, all information I obtain about the company, its business, customers, and inventions will be maintained in confidence by me and will not be disclosed to any third parties during or after the end of my employment with DVFG.

Upon separation of employment I authorize DVFG to withhold from my final pay check any monies owed to them by me (if not prohibited by law) for equipment, loans, products, services, materials or other assets in my possession not promptly returned.

As a condition of employment, I accept that any complaint or conflict that cannot be resolved internally may be referred to Alternative Dispute Resolution, unless prohibited by law.
