Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sales representatives based in multiple locations.

PT/Temporary Maintenance Technician 

Mon-Fri / 9am-3:30pm 

DESCRIPTION:

The PT Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine general maintenance and repairs to all facets of the refrigerated warehouse, as well as performs complex day-to-day repairs on distribution center equipment. This position will also provide general maintenance and construction support to the distribution center office as needed.

DUTIES:

· Perform general construction that involves the reconfiguration of offices, additions to buildings, etc.

· Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to all facets of the refrigeration equipment and distribution center equipment and machines, such as conveyor systems and material handling equipment.

·  Control the equipment set points to accommodate the needs of our customers and to maintain the quality of our product.

·  Ability to construct, disassemble, and repair storage equipment (i.e. pallet racking, CFR racking and shelving).

·  Ability to maintain, repair and troubleshoot electrical and plumbing problems.

·  Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

· Work directly with outside contractors as needed assuring all equipment is maintained allowing for continuous operation of distribution center.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Construction experience (construct/remove walls, drywall, etc)

· Refrigeration/HVAC experience (cold storage/refrigerated warehousing) required.

· Previous general maintenance experience required

· Possibility to be on-call every 3-4 weeks, and work night shift as needed during peak seasons and holidays

Delivery Driver

 This is a full-time delivery driver position operating a refrigerated box truck delivering to florist shops throughout Central and North New Jersey as well as New York, the 5 boroughs and Long Island. The work schedule is five days per week, Monday through Friday with a start time of 3 AM Monday – Friday.  Must also work six Saturdays per year with extra days and hours as required. This is a daily rate position.

  • 21 years of age
  • Must have past delivery driving experience
  • Ability to operate a 16ft refrigerated box truck

CDL Tractor Trailer Driver Local – FTL

DESCRIPTION:

Delaware Valley Floral Group, a leader in the international floral industry, is seeking a full time local driver to join its Flower Transfer Logistics (FTL) division.

FTL, based in Sewell, N.J., is a ‘for hire’ transportation company that specializes in the movement of flowers throughout the continental United States.

This position is for full time local work in the evenings and weekends as necessary.  While most routes allow the driver to be home every night, there will be an occasional overnight stay when delivering to one of our distribution centers in Syracuse or Cranberry Twp, PA.  Optional runs may also be available as fill-in work for our team drivers that handle our Miami to NJ routes.   The start time is between 8-9pm and the rate for this position is $18.50/hour with overtime paid on weekly hours over 40.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Familiarity with completing daily driver logs and company trip reports.
  • A current CDL with hazmat endorsement.
  • 2 years of experience with 53’ trailers, preferably reefers.
  • Most tractors have automatic transmissions, however a few do have manual transmissions.
  • Accident-free in the last 3 year period.
  • Must be 21 years old and be DOT certified.
  • Must be able to work evenings.
  • Must be able to work weekends when necessary.
  • Must be able to pass road test, DOT physical, criminal record check and pre-employment drug screen.

Fresh Flower Supervisor – PM Loose Picking

2pm – finish

Overall purpose of this position:  To ensure timely and accurate picking of all loose pick flowers for customer orders for next day delivery.   Provide the proper training, tools and communication for employees to meet or exceed departmental and individual goals.  Manage labor budget and forecasting for loose pick flowers.  Continually identify opportunities for process improvement.   

Scope:  Responsible for all fresh flower loose picking.
