As we are all experiencing flower demand is intense, we do not see that letting up anytime soon. California is still in summer mode, warm temps in all regions. This is to be expected and may help to keep production flowing better. ~ Marc Robinson, DVFlora/Transflora California Branch Manager

  • LA and Asiatic production is very good.
  • Oriental lilies are in a short gap but still available.
  • Dahlias are now in full season, several growers are now cutting all varieties!
  • Gerbera are in good supply and quality.
  • Snapdragons and Stock are limited but available.
  • Larkspur is available but not in heavy supply.
  • Lisianthus has increased in supply and is excellent quality.
  • Delphinium and Bella are in very limited supply.
  • Iris and tulips are in good summer production.
  • Freesia available but very limited.
  • Glads are readily available in assorted colors and but somewhat limited in solids.
  • Sunflower production is in full swing throughout the state.
  • Fillers are in good supply; Choc lace, green mist, solidago, and bupleurum.
  • Queen Anne’s Lace is extremely limited
  • Matsumotos are very limited.
  • Summer field flowers like craspedia, scabiosa, nigella, gomphrena, cornflower and safflower are all available and of excellent quality.
  • Upright and hanging amaranths are in season.
  • Hydrangea is in full season!
  • Kale is only available in green.
  • Several Leucadendron varieties are in season now.
  • Eucalyptus is now back to normal levels. Baby Blue, silver dollar, parvafolia, gunni and seeded are available. Willow euc is available.
